If you’re the type of person who hates spoilers, and if you plan on seeing things fresh, I’d have to warn you that this article contains so many possible spoilers that it’s actually radioactive. Seriously. This will give you cancer.

 

Now let’s get down to business. Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) in all of the Ironman movies is always tinkering on something, always innovating, always designing and inventing new things, always making suits that are more powerful and advanced than the last. It seems as though that when the going gets tough, some new “toy” of his will always come out, or fly right out the window and transform into a new suit while he’s falling from a building. I think by now, we should know that there’s always more cake beneath the icing in Ironman movies.

Marvel showcased all seven Ironman suits in this year’s Comic Con last July 12 to 16 at San Diego with the new Mark 8, which we will definitely see in next year’s Ironman 3. Yes. I know how you guys feel, too. We were all disappointed about the colour scheme of the new suit. THERE’S JUST TOO MUCH GOLD in it. All the new joints and angles look really good, though. But it’ll look more awesome if there was less gold in it in my opinion.

Here comes the good part boys and girls:

This pale looking New Age suit is NOT the Mark Eight. According to Latinoreview.Com, this suit is the Mark XLVII. For you kids out there who don’t read Roman numerals, that’s 47. That’s right. This armour is apparently Tony Stark’s forty-seventh suit!

It is said that, Stark’s nemesis in the third movie, The Mandarin (played by Ben Kingsley) will have a group of Extremis enhanced minions.

And that will be too much for our hero to fight alone. But this time he can’t call on his buddies from The Avengers or the guys at S.H.I.E.L.D. so it’s up to him to think his way out of this one. And with the help of science, nanotech and lots of awesomeness, Stark will have to make 40 suits and control all of it to battle this horde of bad guys.

 

Now that’s more like it. Just imagine an army of high-tech arc reactor-powered suits duking it out and beating the hell out of Mandarin and his gang of extremis goons… That’ll be so worth watching.
